CLIENT: Gauss Surgical, Inc.

BACKGROUND: Gauss Surgical was founded in 2011 with a vision of leveraging mobile devices in the operating room. The overall goal is to improve the quality of perioperative care. The FDA approved Triton Fluid Management System is the world's first and only mobile platform for real-time estimation of blood loss during surgery. 

SOLUTION: The challenge was to show the app being used in a real operating room in a colorful, attractive way. Unlike medical photos shot as stock photos or on television, most working operating rooms are full of equipment, They can be fairly small which limits your ability to move around. So after putting on some required scrubs I set up the room with minimal lighting and captured a nurse using the app as if there was a real operation in progress.
